For some reason my rear parking sensors decided that they were going to take a little holiday earier tonight and due to the very tight space I was trying to turn round in and the lack of any light what so ever I reversed into a rather nasty concrete post. The parking sensors picked up on this!! The first I knew was a bang and then the solid state noise. Great. So now I have a rather nasty indentation and other assorted damage to my rear bumper.

Anyway - to the point - does anyone know a good quality, good value body shop near to the Bradford area??

Nope, but for some reason they just didn't go off until it was too late! VERY ANGRY at the time!

Nasty dent in the rear bumper of my octy2 vrs on the drivers side, has broken the bumper a bit by the reflector and it just generally looks a bloomin mess now. And the end is one inch to the left of the parking sensor that decided to take a break that evening.

My car is currently with UK Assistance near Wakefield. Having bumpers and wings resprayed, so I can let you know what the quality of work is next week if you want. We should make a list of member approved body shops in this section. Possible sticky?

Nightmare Will. Let me know how you get on. I have a fair number of bad stone chips and chunks out my front bumper and would maybe like to get the thing sorted but no idea who to trust. So very curious to see who you use.

Hey Ste, good to hear from you, it's a bloomin nightmare; the week before some numpty reversed into me in Tesco car park so the front bumper has been damaged AS WELL!! That's being done at Wilsden Auto's courtesy of him though. Let see how it all goes. What's worse is I only drive the car twice a week now!

I was wondering what you were upto - haven't seen the car at Shipley much at all. Assumed you had a new assignment on the job.

Well - i feel your pain. I haven't been hit by any other cars but seem to attrract some of the biggest rocks, stones and whatever - which has made as real mess on the front bumper.

I'll hold off until spring now - but interested on how you get on with your re-spray.

good to see a few Bradfordians on here......as well as Simbo! hope you get the car sorted.....i will look out for you on trips back "home" to watch the increasingly rubbish bantams. Cant help with the bodyshop thing as dont live round there anymore.

Hi, Im not too far from Bradford at Keighley to be precise, There is a guy that has a bodyshop at sutton near Cross hills if you know where that is, he is gaining a good reputation at the moment and apparently has the contract on all the Man U players' cars whenever they need any work doing, A few fancy motors have been spotted outside donning number plates with the letters RF and WR.

Also I've used a guy at carleton near skipton for full resprays and repairs and I cant recommend him enough. Silver Star bodyshop is the name of the place.

Well the car is going to be taken to Bingley Car Body Shop as soon as the snow has gone from my road so I can get my car out. Having to go through insurance for this one unfortunately. I will report back on the job when done.

Well I got the car back on Friday. Mitro and his team at Bingley Body Shop did a really nice job and their customer service skills were great. Big thumbs up I'll definately use them again if I need to.
