Featured Replies

Hi

I have bought this car, and the owner tell me he has disconected the airbag on passenger seat cause he have a baby seat forward.

I have not searched for disconected connector but all are on.

Is it some one so can help me with this faultcode and come with some tip.

The car is a Skoda fabia 2001 year 1.4 mpi.

Thanks a lot.

Have read on here loads of times - if the airbag gets disconnected & the ignition turned on, even when reconnected the warning lamp still shows - Find someone with VAGCOM/VCDS... it needs the fault code clearing to reset the warning lamp.

From what I can tell 00532 is a power supply problem to the airbag control unit and 01312 is a defective data bus. Given that you know that someone has been trying to disable the system, I would check the fuses and the connection at the control unit (bolted to the floor centrally on the tunnel, next to the clutch pedal) a yellow connector.
