I signed up last week and have only got round to posting here today for the first time, having browsed through various topics. I got my first Skoda, a brand new Octavia 2.0TDi Elegance Estate in Storm Blue, last Thursday and have been enjoying it so far. It's a company car but I had free range to chose whatever I wanted within a budget. Having seen my colleague's new Superb I was drawn to Skodas. I did think about the Superb but for my budget I couldn't get the spec I wanted plus I wanted the fold flat boot the Octavia offers. I also didn't want exactly the same car as a colleague

The only problem I've had is getting a deep scratch on the bonnet and bumper from a lump of hard core flying off a truck less than two days after getting the car. Fortunately the owner of the truck is cooperating and the bonnet and bumper will be getting a respray at the dealers shortly. Needless to say I was livid when it happened but have calmed down now.
