Well done Skoda. We know how much Top Gear has slated Skoda's over the years. Nice to see them eat their own words.

Perhaps we should all write to TG and insist JC gives it a test drive on the show; he would HATE that!!

I bought that magazine because it featured the Yeti and found that TG had also awarded the new Superb as Luxury Car of The Year as well. They really have eaten their words although what is printed in TG magazine often differs from what JC says on TG programme. He is nothing if not inconsistent bless him.

I believe the magazine is run by the BBC; and the Top Gear TV program is (these days), owned by Jezzer himself, after the BBC cancelled it a few years ago.

Shrub, is there a write up of their using the Yeti to drove up Pikes Peak ? I missed the mag by a day or two.

We just ordered a Fabia to replace an ageing Freelander 1 and on seeing the Yeti, I have kind of decided its my next target at the end of the year (downsize from now too expensive to run Discovery 3 on lease)... then saw the Top Gear award online, rushed out to buy the mag... and it was gone, replaced by the new issue :(
