Well I moaned and winged about my Cruise Control not working, I'd slide the switch and press the SET button and nothing would happen...Then I was talking to my passenger and held it in for 2-3 seconds...And off it went yeehaa

I'm sure the manual didn't say hold the SET button...Now, did I even read the manual??!!

Public humiliation welcome - But my mitigation is that it's a man-thing not reading manuals? Ok, bring it on, I will accept graceful destructive criticism emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif

Should take no more than half a second.

Get into the spirit guys , the man wants abuse.

You great plonker , its obvious what you do , dont you ever bother to read these manuals the motor manufacturer bothers to supply , for goodness sake take the time to read through it and understand .

I bet your mrs could do it .

On a more serious note , thats not right , it should be a switch , ie. on or off mate.

A serious case of RTFM

Glad you go it sorted

You are an idiot, the switch on the top is on and off and the switch on the end is resume and set, you cant use the ones on the end if it is off! Even my wife knows how to work it and my 2 year old will probably work it out soon, its even written on it for people who have trouble ready a whole sentence in a manual.

;););););)

Happy to oblige mate , the job seems sorted now

When I buy a product I expect it to work exactly how I IMAGINE it should work.

Manuals are a waste of trees and harm the environment. I am a man and have no time to waste on such trivia!

I want value for money, so when it doesn't work exactly how I IMAGINE it should, I want someone from which ever company I bought it from to explain to me why it doesn't work exactly how I IMAGINE it should. This should be done whilst feeding me peeled grapes and apologising profusely for their incompetence in producing a product that doesn't work exactly how I IMAGINE it should!

You get the drift

I'm pretty sure all you have to do for that level of service is order your car with the aardvark trim and greet them with the correct masonic handshake...
