Just bought an 07 Octavia 1.4. Really missing having the radio/CD player controls on the steering wheel that I had on my last car. Anyone know if it can be fitted retrospectively? And if it can, is it likely to cost me a fortune?

The dealer price for these is approx GBP500, not sure if this will fit (or if your car has the capability) but there is one on Flea Bay currently Flea Bay

You can get the ebay one, and use your existing airbag, BUT you will also need to replace the steering wheel controller which is not included in that ebay auction. I have been keepin an eye on that ebay wheel, its been on there for months now and not sold yet. I guess its because of the cost of the steering controller and getting the car correctly coded for the wheel.

I bought one for mine, and found a steering ECU on Ebay.de for £70. 10 minutes with VCDS sorts the coding out.
