Autel Maxscan VAG405 V2.8

Hi all, i've been looking at scan tools and im not really looking to buy VAG-COM. As i've no need for its whole functions that i'll probably never use.

Having a quick route about on ebay, ive come across the Autel Maxscan VAG405 V2.8 for £70 and im considering buying it to reset service lights etc etc and read and clear any codes.

My sister has got a Polo and the gf has a Seat Ibiza aswell as me having the problematic Octy Mk2 aswell as a few mates with VAG cars, so it should prove useful.

I've looked for some reviews on the item, but i cant seem to find any.

Has anyone looked into these units or actually bought one, which can provide the pro's and cons of the product?
