170CR 4x4 lowering kit

Featured Replies

I have just bought a new Superb 170CR 4x4 but was informed that it could not be combined with the "sports suspension". ´Does anyone here at this forum know any third party suppliers that have a lowering kit for this car.. I pride myself to say that I have a black belt in Google but in this case I have fallen short. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm also looking for a lowering kit. Any help would be appreciated!

BTW; could the springs from the Greenline be fitted? They seem to lower the car an inch approx.

Guys.....H&R do lowering springs. see here http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/section.php?xSec=900&xPage=1

I also believe Eibach do some as well.

Word of warning, I fitted H&R 40mm lowering springs to a previous car and whilst it made it look real good it handled real c**p.

The car was pretty hard, suspension wise as standard so I did not bother with proper upgraded short bodied shocks. That was my downfall, so if yourlowering make sure you get a proper set of shocks to match the new springs, because the standard dampers will not have the ability to dampen the springs over the reduced travel range that lowering springs have.

Of course, if you don't care about handling and are only concerned about looks, go for it.

They certainly do, for the FWD Superb Combi the part No. is:

E10-79-007-01-22

(not sure if this covers the 4WD though?)
