Renewing rear washer jet on a 2003 Fabia estate

Featured Replies

Hi all, plenty of threads on the subject of rear washer jets not working. Well, mine works but sprays water everywhere except the rear screen :(

On inspection the jet/nozzle is split, so water sprays everywhere. It is the type of jet that protrudes from the high level brake light.

Rang the nearest Skoda dealer. New nozzle is a mighty £2.40 inc vat. I'll be having some of that. Here's the question; does the nozzle simply pull out, and thus push the new one in? Or as I suspect will I need to dismantle the tailgate trim, remove the high level light cluster then some how push the new nozzle in?

Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly welcomed.
