After a year of looking, I finally got a set of Superb Solid alloys

Featured Replies

Not quite as initially intended though....

They come bolted to my new car, a 2005 Elegance TDi Tiptronic :giggle:

It's my uncles old car which he's had since brand new and when he offered it to me, I couldn't refuse. I've never really been a huge fan of the superb, probably because most seem to be taxis which have never seen so much as a bucket of water, but I have to say that I'm totally converted.

I've been looking for an Auto for a while now due to type of driving I do these days and whilst I would have liked a DSG, the tiptronic is perfectly functional.

The fake wood trim isn't to everyone's taste but I love the interior, it's such a comfortable place to be as you float from place to place :D

Thanks, I have never liked the font used on the older Skodas so I switched it when I changed the rear lights :)

That's a nice motor you have there man. I wasn't too keen on the old superb font either hence the debadge. The new font looks well on yours.

Someone will be along shortly with some complimentary apple juice and dates, another perk of Superb ownership. Welcome to the Brootherhood.

For anyone who cares... A year on, still going strong. It's covered just shy of 30k this year taking it to 220,000 ish miles. I've replaced the lower rear suspension arms, xenon bulbs, front pads, battery and tyres. :)

Needs some tire dressing but I don't have any at the moment.
