Yeti best in test. Great. Now can you do a little magic and export the prices across the sound, so we can buy the Yeti a normal prices, instead of double up as we do now?

It bothers me just a little that I could have driven home an Audi A6 Quattro in Sweden for what I paid for the Yeti.

Helgestahill HI,

Very interesting comparisons. Is the image from a hard copy magazine or from the internet? If it was from the www then a link would be very useful so that a translation machine can read the whole test.

I use a Swedish OFF Road Forum dedicated to the Volvo C303 / C304 http://www.terrangbil.net is their a suitable forum in Sweden or other Scandinavian country that has the Skoda Yeti!

OK,

Thank you for reproducing it for us.

Thanks, interesting comparison against the 'premium' competition.

Seems they really didn't rate the Freelander very well at all!

The Freelander has a greater Off Road potential than any other vehicle in this class, with bigger clearances, angles very long travel suspension, etc. It is more of a traditional off road vehicle in shape and size having a large cargo area. Not having driven a FL 2 I can not comment directly but some say it is supremely comfortable on rough roads.

You certainly couldn't in the UK! Cheapest A6 Quattro TDi (190BHP) is £12000 more (you do get Tiptronic) and the A6 SE 2WD CR170 is £5000 more than a CR170...

Great test for the Yeti! Makes for great reading, Thanks! Hmm.. I just got back from a shopping trip to Sweden, should have picked up a copy of the magazine while I was there :o All i bought was beer (Czech Staropramen  ) meat and other must haves for new years eve B)
