Skoda Break 1.9 tdi Elegance facelift

Featured Replies

Hello every one

My Name is Nelson and I'm from Portugal, and i've been coming here to understand a bit more about my Skoda Octavia.

It's a fantastic car.

I do have some doubts, one of them is:

I've read in this forum and some other that, when people order the sound system, i lose the compartment under the passanger seat, i think this is because it has the amplifier there, but mine dosen't, and my question is to all owners of skodas octavias, do you have and amplifier under the passenger seat? did it come from the factory when you order it? if it did, can you please post a photo of it? I explain, i'm asking this because NO ONE in portugal in the dealer knows or wants to explain this to me, i've paid 300€ for 4 speakers and i don't get the best of them.

My skoda Octavia has the i beleave in the U.K. is the L&K equipement, plus

Electric seats both sides, with memo for the driver with the two reae view miror with memo as well

Bolero Radio

Sound System

Multi fucntion Stearwheel

Maxidot

LEather heated seats

I hope i did put the right name for the extras :)

thank you all, and HAPY NER YEAR 2010

Hi Nelson, and welcome.

I suggest an extended discussion of this topic is probably more appropriately continued in the Octavia II forum, however I can confirm that my Octavia Elegance estate has the audio upgrade i.e. 12 speakers and additional amp under the passenger seat, and that I still have the storagebox under the passenger seat. Can't get a photo at the moment as the car is currently buried under a significant amount of snow!

Unless I'm misunderstanding your problem, and assuming that you are signed in, just go to the relevant forum and click on the 'Start New Topic' button at the top or bottom right of the screen (presumably what you did to create this thread?).
