Circular stud that holds the seat belt buckle up the belt.

Featured Replies

Hi all

I went to shut my car door the other day and the seat belt hadn't quite retracted all the way back, as i shut the door the buckle got caught between the frame and the door.

Now what that has done has broken it off and its fallen off somewhere i cant find.

Now what i'd like to know is can you get these seperately, rather than having to fit another belt and mechanism?

Cheers

Don't know if they are available seperately, might be worth contacting a seatbelt company like securon. http://www.securon.co.uk/

I remember on an old car my missus used to have she had the same problem, and resulted in sewing a couple of coat buttons on instead. (although her car was a crap one!)

EDIT:

Just looked back at your car pic, I guess the two old coat buttons idea isn't going to wash well!

I've seen an american website that supplys these studs at $4.95 each, a little excessive and im imagining that they would take a while to get here.

I just cant seem to find anything over this way, i could do with a few to be honest. As one of the rear ones got caught after putting the folding rears back up.
