sorry if this has been covered before but i'm a newb.

my mate owns a 56plate octavia taxi, for some bizzare reason the drivers window and the lock function

on the drivers door have stopped working. (the passenger side and unlock function still work),

could someone on here please enlighten me as to what the problem could be?

ie; switch/wiring

it's been to the company's own garage but they havent got a clue

Probably water ingress in the driver's door loom connectors; needs the door trim taking off to investigate.
