Creaking front suspension, steering wheel judder & others!

Featured Replies

Hi guys. - First post :)

I have a '03 Fabia Mk1 that has been creaking over speed bumps for a while now. during the snow it also developed a juddering steering wheel both at high and low speeds (obviously the judder is slower if I'm crawling in traffic) - The tire shop said the wheels were perfectly balanced and maybe it was worn disks?

Yesterday I took the car to Skoda and the drop links were replaced but today the noise is back! AGHH! - What a waste of 95 quid!

Does anyone know what it could be and if the judder is related?

Cheers! Farby ;)

My car has a creaking from the front right when going over bumps (e.g cats eyes) and it also pulls left if you take you hands off the wheel so I am going to check the console bushes at the weekend as I have found they were an "advisory" item at the last MOT - found this on VOSA website as last owner did not pass on the "advisory" note

I also get a vibration through the steering
