Hi.

Difficult to say.. We haven't personally used a head of this spec before.. Jason supplied the valves, we ported the head and made the valves fit...

A drive in drive out service for a ported head on a diesel is around 2k with standard valves.. Quite costly because pretty much every bolt is a stretch bolt in the head of a diesel..

Cheers

Kev

So, what are my chances of getting this before the weekend? ;)

I don't think any engine work will be going on with the mongrel this saturday, so in no rush.

Looks SEXY AS ANYTHING! Cannot wait to see this head combined with the new high flow injectors and the tubular manifold..... B)

Is it needed with a diesel engine?

Still looks nice though :)

Porting definately helps the diesel.. Results can be seen.. One customers car had a hybrid turbo and very smoky. Once head was ported there was absolutely no smoke and more injection could be added..

No idea what this is but it looks sweet.

So if someone sent the head to yourselves, it would cost 2k to do?

No, that's a drive in, leave car, drive out again. Mostly labour. I sent them the head and it was £320 something + vat + p&p. :) Some extras for valve seals and stuff so would be cheaper if just a "porting" only job.

Thats not to shabby! I might have to invest in a similar set up to you this year mate.

Don't let Jason see this.......too late.

The oil/waterway looks very close to the valve edges, could be a bit tricky with the head gasket? Leaks?

?? the holes next to the valves are where the diesel injector and glow plug come through
