Suspension mods - what have you got?

Featured Replies

So what have people done to their Superb to enhance the look of the car by lowering (not slamming - talking approx 30 - 40mm max) whilst retaining respectable ride comfort and control? Anybody done anything with a V6 TDi?

In the Spring I will be looking to lower mine a little and possibly source a rear Anti roll bar to curb some of the body roll. I am not trying to turn it into a sports car, I just want to lower for aesthetics and to eliminate some of the body roll when I am heading out to work down the A49 etc etc. It would be nice to keep the slight "nose down" stance it has at the moment on the factory sports suspension.

Anybody have any advice or experience, in particular with the 2.5 V6?

Eibachs and FSDs?

Have a look on ukpassats mate :)

-30mm Eibachs on mine. The ride is stiffer, less body roll but still comfortable. Click on my sig if you want to see how they've settled in. As it happens I'm thinking of selling the original springs but they're for a 1.9PD engine.

Weitec and KW also offer some competitvely priced spring packages and these can be sourced via Awesome GTI.........

Brother in law went for -30mm Eibachs springs on his pd130 superb. It doesn't look out of place yet still gives him enough ground clearance around the country roads of North Yorkshire
