the car we never had

Featured Replies

i watched this and i was a little nostalgic ...about the car we never had!... So fresh and original.

they never let designers to decide about production models..

The Vertical, Horizontal Sweep Windscreen wiper would have been interesting. they are used on some boats. They can clear the whole screen. It is about time manufacturers paid more attention to clearing the screens. They just get by doing the same ting for the last 100 years or so with little real improvement.

Split Tail gates are useful.

Also the bike carriage system was PERFECT. But never went to production by Skoda or any other company (with the exception of Opel in a corsa?). Why? Most of car owners in Europe have ALSO a bike and need to carry this around.

I like spit tail-gates! They are very handy for sitting on when watching the world go buy and for carrying extended loads.

thats one use of an estate, :) but isnt the corsa one a expensive extra? compared to a halfords bike rack which is £60 approx!

I would have liked a split tail gate, less rattles and creaks and a shorter front overhang, other then that, I am very happy with how the Yeti turned out :thumbup:B)

There were some great ideas on the concept but personally I feel they have done a very good job in keeping the production version as close to the concept as they have. In some areas they have even improved on the concept, the glass roof being one. :)

TP

It DOES look good with the white roof, and I wish they did the split tail-gate with the bike rack as well.

We looked at a Peugeot 3008 which has a split tailgate.I thought it would be great for sitting on. Then I thought about the weekly shop and having to stretch all that way to get the bags into the boot.

I have to say I prefer the production model, looks-wise.

You leave the tailgate up when posting the shopping! :strong:

At 5ft 4" and the big fortnightly shop that would have been :strong: :strong:

Just saw the What Car issue with 3008 beating Yeti in the Best Crossover category. Boo Hiss.
