The octavia (vrs) as we all know has the worlds most dire audio as standard.

Its beginning to grate on me a bit now so i would like to upgrade, but do so using the bare minimum of pieces.

So straight to the point:

Front speakers that fit straight in, no messing about due to depths etc, what is there?

I want to run a (small) sub in the car for depth, this doesn't need to be large diameter, i would prefer something responsive. Best going with traditional boot mounted or are there decent slimline cabin efforts?

This i assume will need an amp, what will i need?

All of the above ok off standard headunit? (Running ipod interface)

Thankyaw

install amp, run all speakers through it on one channel and the sub on the other. i've also installed 6x9s. sounds the best its gunna get before doing any surgery.

How can you run all speakers through 1 channel of an amp?

by layering up 4 lots of wires onto the terminals. can't say i'd reccomend it though!

Can't say I'd recommend it?? LOL
