Hiya all - i've got a 2009 superb elegance model (with the RNS 510 Sat Nav etc). It's got the really horrible standard antenna fitted.

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get a shark fin for this car that will also be compatible with my RNS 510 sat nav etc. and will it give the same quality/reception as the standard ones?? also, any idea why skoda put the really standard aerials on - as you the short stubby ones look much better ??

I just a 59 plate SE model in the skoda showroom with the shark fin, but no Sat Nav and when i asked the service chap - he didn't really have a clue, hence i'm asking some experts out there !!

I have a genuine Audi A6/S6 shark fin on my Octavia which is GPS.

I have the part number at home, it's stuck at the back of the garage somewhere but will try and dig it out.
