WATER LEAK

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Anyone had water trickling down bulk head drivers side from the windscreen duct only noticed it as the hood was wet and lifting it noticed water coming from behind the covering, bit concerned that could be electrics under there, I have removed the cover and there is a small hole it's comming through but if I block it the water then comes over the small lip, have taken pictures but not sure how to post resolution etc.

To test just poor water onto windscreen.

Any comments!

Yes, I have a comment.. You do not have a WATER LEAK if water is trickling around in the engine compartment/ in front of the windscreen. Your engines ECU is situated in the compartment in front of the windscreen, so it would be wise not to block the draining holes on either side of this compartment...

It is perfectly normal for water to run down in this area and as long as the drains not stuffed with leaves etc, it won't do any harm..

Hi Jon A.

I would think it should run out to the side as in other car's I have had, I have pictures but still trying to post. seems you have to have a URL link not sure how to.

OK, maybe my link wasn't good enough then. This has nothing to do with your operating system.

1.First you have to upload your images to a picture hosting server or service. In my case I choosed the one that The Plumber kindly gave it to me - My link.

Therefore I used Flickr.com as they have a group already set up and I have already a yahoo account.

2.Then into Flickr, when selecting one of your photos for editing you will see a button called "all sizes". Click on that one and select the size of the photo you want to link to (thumbnail, small, medium, large). - My link.

3. Once this done, at the bottom of the page you'll find a path (the actual link to your picture) that you copy. - My link

4.When writing (posting) to Briskoda, click on the "insert Image" button and paste the link (path) you've copied before.

This is how I do it... and it works for me. Hope I've been explicit enough, english is not my first language...emoticon-0114-dull.gif
