Thinking of coming back

Featured Replies

Hello folks.

I use to be on here a fair bit when I owned my 04 furby VRS. Since then I had a company bmw 120d and was then made redundant so had to give that back. I now drive the current civic type r gt, cracking motor but boy it needs some troque.

Anyhow I am thinking of coming back this time in Octy VRS guise. Family life (growing family) means I have to get a five door next and the new shape octy vrs is looking like a good buy.

My civic is leased till end of year, and skoda have quoted be £290 per month pcp for a brand spanking new VRS. I can not believe how much kit is standard, as I was looking at second hand cars (will still try and get nearly new vrs not brand new). Cupra was the only one really ticking boxes but interior is really bad.

Anyhow, I think my mind is made up now I just have to test drive it. Currently only doing around 10k per annum so think petrol will be my option, had loads of dervs previous and love the torque, but think petrol power delivery is smoother and derv power dies too quick. Yes I have test driven the VAG group PD 170 and CR 170 dervs so I can make this comment lol

Just wanted to say hi again.

Any advice welcome, should I buy from skoda or see if they will match one of these internet companies quotes?

I will be remapping the vehicle also at some stage but will use the ''search'' button first before people get mad, but quick question on bluefin, any good??
