New 2010 Octavia DIY MDI.

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Done almost 9000km on the new 2010 Octavia Scout and loving it !

Now, i got an ipod touch 2g for christmas, but did not take the factory accessory MDI :'( with the car...

So, installation should be a walk in the park, but where to buy the right interface ? Anyone got knowledge on where to buy the right one and what is the part number ?

The MDI -> Ipod adapter cables can be found anywhere, but the MDI interface itself is a bit more tricky.

Here in Finland the dealer wants >300euros for it, so hopefully someone here knows where to get them a bit cheaper ?

A bit thanks in advance.

The Czech outfit in the link below has the MDI interface listed - can't see theprice, or maybe it's late.

Hello, and thank you for the reply.

I yesterday also ended up to that website.

The part number for the MDI on that site seems to be: 5N0 035 342 A. The local dealer told me that the part number for the MDI should be: 5N0 035 342 B, what is the difference for these two ?

Thanks ! -Jerma-
