Foglights

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me, can the foglight bulbs be changed without the car going on a ramp, can they be accesed from the front ??

If you look at page 285 in your manual you will see a diagram that shows how to remove the plastic covers next to the fog lights, behind the covers are what look like 2 torx screws that hold the fog light housings in place.

Just fitted Ring XenonMax +100% H11 to my foglamps, these are almost identical to the H8's that are standard but the H11 are 55w as opposed to the 35w H8's. They are a significent improvement and are still road legal !!

There is a very slight modification needed to one of the metal fins that hold the bulb in place but it is easily done with a snips and a file. Time will tell whether or not the lamp can cope with the extra heat. £23 from performancebulbs.com

Good result

I wouldn't think the heat would be an issue, front fog lights are rarely used (unless one finks dey are kool when dere is no fog, innit) and significant heat build up will only occur if they are left on when the car is stationary.
