Hi all, my vRs is going in 6 weeks, hello Octy 1.6 diesel estate

Featured Replies

I've been lucky enough to have 3 vRS since 2002, and have loved them all. My first 1.8T was fantastic but, I would say, the increase in power since then has only offset the extra weight that comes with all the toys that are now expected with 'top of the range ' cars. Don't get me wrong, if I could have another RS I would, but a small and lovely little person now rules my life (and therefore my finances) and so bhp now loses out to 'isofix', and a £200 per year saving on car tax alone is a necessary saving - followed by insurance savings, fuel savings etc etc. Our next Skoda is a 1.6 diesel estate due in March so if you're a vRS in Hampshire flashed by a white Octy estate -please be sympathetic... I'm just jealous!

It does and it is being used! However the hatch is getting covered in scratches from a pram and junk being bundled in the back and 'brisk' driving is no longer appreciated :( Thanks for the welcome :)
