i thought that i would fit a induction kit to my felicia 1.6 just give it that little bit more, however i found that it has just made it slower, when u put ur foot down its seems to lack, also with my air box on i could get to like 50mph in 2nd gear and 70 odd in 3rd but now cant do these speeds on the gears and struggles to get over 60mph!

Anyone have any ideas?

Put the airbox back on.

step away from the engine and put the bonnet down.................................

as said refit the airbox, if you want you can remove the trumpet from the inside of it to get a small gain

yeah, i must admit, when i put the 16v in the pickup i had lost the airbox that came with the engine so i just stuck on the cheapest cone filter i could find off ebay, put when i finally managed to fit a proper airbox it felt a lot more pokey
