How is it done? Where will I find a hole to put the cable through the firewall?

I think it is hard. there are a few threads talking about options. I think most people drill a hole... I need to do the same not sure anout drilling. may get it done by the dealer.. had a sub sat on my living room florr for three weeks... not sure what to do

Having done it myself I know you can get an 8AWG cable through a hole in the passenger footwell that already has one smaller cable running through it. There is apparently a bigger spare grommet further up just below the windscreen, but I couldn't find it from the cabin or the engine bay. No drilling is needed to fit an 8AWG cable through, but it is a damn tight fit!!!

There's a grommet behind the glovebox which is big enough to get most power cable through - I had to drill a new hole for my 4awg though.

I think this is the one Jason is referring to. Be prepared to lose the skin off your knuckles fishing for the wire behind the glovebox!

Thats the one I used. Got my 4awg through there.
