Yeti Park Assist

Featured Replies

I am getting close to putting my order in for a 1.8TSI 4x4 and am very keen to hear about Park Assist. I know it has been mentioned before, but as none of the demonstrators seem to have it around here, I am very keen for first hand experience from any of you who have used it, and for those who actually have it on their monster, do you think it is worth it?

Cheers

Hi,

I bought an ex demo and it has this fitted. I would never have specified it and considered it somewhat of a joke. However, it is of endless amusement to any passengers and I have to admit it is pretty impressive. I actually gave it a test the other day of a gap I wouldn't have bothered with, as it was a bit too tight, it went straight in no problem. So I am converted, would I specify it on a new car, probably not, but then again my wife wants to try it out herself and after that I may not have a choice.

Hi,

I have this on my Yeti. It was part of an offer when I ordered. Only tested it at dealer when picking up my new Yeti and I was impressed.

Did fine on a very small gap where I would never have tried to park manually. I almost needed a "getting out assist" also.

As I rarely need to do "in line" parking I havent tried it since.

Would not ordered "Park assist" seperately, but front/rear sensors is used daily and a "must have".
