yea maybe,

when I get wheels n tyres next week ill fit them and see if it makes any diff. Ill post the findings too.

I do hope it stops it as if it doesnt its more money to go to it.

The rear camber cannot be altered on the mk1. Excessive wear on the inside edge of the tyre is a side affect of going to low on coilovers.

That is exactley the issue Billy has. Correct me if I am wrong Billy, you lowered you VRS probably further than you wanted which has caused the camber to wear tyres. This happened to me when I went too low and the GEO set up confirmed it. I now have better camber with rear raised, It is possible that your worn tread is causing more noise especially with them on the front and you car still being lower on coilovers than standard height. I tend to get a noise at certain speeds, and I have had both bearing replaced .

they just ignoring me lol

I wont be getting another set from them thats for sure. They said the rims needed to go back to the place I got them first but the place I got them from doesnt wanna know as they are over 12 month old. so I got back to TD saying that the place I got them doesnt wanna know and asked if there was any other things I could do and I have had nothing back at all and Ive sent 3 emails to the same person I got an instant reply from the first 2 times. This a week ago.

If I can get a cheap rim then Ill get that and get the crack looked at and use as a spare if safe but if the price is not right then I would Not touch them ever again as they are Very expensive for what they are.

I have the noise that started after the car had the cv joint done and the alignment done, they have checked all the transition and the bearings and found nothing. I couldnt see why the tyres would cause such a noise seen as it didnt before it was alligned, I am thinking that the alignment is putting pressure on other parts of the tyre and exaggerating the uneven wear?

So for the money it would be to get the toyo t1r on the td rims I can get a new set of rims and tyres so relieving the td ones to have them looked at and gaining a set for winter later on lol.

Also seen as there is lots of life in the tyres on the car at the mo it seems a shame to loose them if the new tyres dont cure it.
