A number of products have caught my eye on the forum: Swissol, Meguires, Autoglym. For a flat corrida red (new car on order), what would you guys recommend? I have Mer but it is quite old and I'm sure there are other better? products available right now.

I am onto my second red car now and Auto Glym Super Resin is the product i have used on both. Really good stuff!

I'll second that

Used it extensively on my Colorado Red Focus ST and topped it off with Autoglym HD wax

Have not yet used it on my new Corrida Red VRS

i'll 3rd that my corrida red octavia vrs gleams. but ive been hearing good things about dodo juice products just lately but never tried them myself

As above you wont go far wrong with the Autoglym SRP for the polish stage.

But I'd strongly recommend getting some wax on top of it for added protection and beading - maybe something like Collinite 476.

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I brought my 1.2 tsi 2016 CJZD Rapid earlier this year. As soon as I picked up the car, i noticed the issue, but the garage i purchased it from had wiped their hands clean. FOR SALE – 73/100 Registered 1 March 2002 A rare opportunity to purchase one of the remaining 16 Octavia WRC 100 Edition cars left in the UK. 73/100 was fully restored by Des Jansen (delcac on here) during 2015/16/17. Des lived in Kent and he and Pete Drury who owned 66/100 decided to carry out a joint restoration of the two WRCs. Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another...
