Any Bucks based friendly satellite installers around?

Featured Replies

Wasn't sure if this is the correct section to ask in, so if any of the mods feel it's out of place, feel free to move :)

I've got a 64cm dish at the moment happily picking up 19.2E and 28.2E but I want to add 23.5E to the mix. I've bought all the stuff to upgrade (new 90cm dish, multilnb bracket, diseqc switches and LNBs), but I'm not convinced I will be able to upgrade it in a day which would mean suffering the eternal wrath of SWMBO if she has to miss her TV in the evening. So I'm looking for someone to do it for me who I can shove a few quid under the counter... Anyone here who is willing to earn a bit of pocket money and has the qualifications to do it? I'm in Aylesbury, Bucks.

Ta!

Ah well, gonna bite the bullit and attempt to do it myself tomorrow. If I go offline for a while, then it's because I couldn't complete it in time, SWMBO missed her TV in the evening, and I am waiting for the divorce papers to come through whilst staying at the YMCA ;)

Bit of help - think it was Comet/Currys I saw it in - a signal meter with and an azimuth meter to help you set up your dish . Maplin do a TV signal detecter ,but not too sure of it's frequency range .

Thanks, but I did actually manage to get a signal on all satellites. It's not perfect, but good enough for now :)
