Headlamp Adjustment.

Featured Replies

Noticed that my nearside headlamp on dipped beam is higher than one on offside. How do I adjust it down without using the switch gizmo?

The headlight aim adjuster switch does both simultaneously, if you want to make individual adustments there are two black or grey hexagonal type screws on the side of each headlight - one above the other, you can see them when you pop the bonnet and look down at the light fittings. One does up/down and the other does let/right. Tiny adjustments at a time are recommended so as not to foul the adjustment mechanism.

I think that the L/H dip is meant to be higher - so as to illuminate the edge of the road. You can see the pattern produced by the lights when facing a wall or similar vertical surface.
