loud clicking from centre of dashboard

Featured Replies

hi guys just new on here and already have problem i have a 2002 skoda octavia elegance 1.9 tdi and i have a very annoying clicking noise coming from centre of dashboard i have tried changeing the hazzard light switch but no luck pls help as im going mad trying to find it thanks in advance

Is it the indicator relay clicking?, they often do this quite eratically if there is dirt build up in the indicator stalk switch. Switch cleaner squirted in at the base of the stalk and worked in may cure it, otherwise it's a new stalk switch required.

One other possibility is that it could be the heater/recirculation flap motors.

I too have heard this loud clicking sound in my car. At first I thought it was a stone hitting the screen, as it is a very loud 'crack' type sound, but having heard it a couple of times more, it does appear to emanate from the dash area, possibly more on the passengers side.

Mine has just started doing this too ,im pretty sure its the relay thanks for the tip fordfan will give that a go.
