Hi All,

I'm wondering what parts (springs, wheels - mainly but anything else for general interest) are interchangeable with RS or other VAG cars. Any existing threads please point me in right direction.

Where to start? I'd guess that there's probably not a part on an octavia that does not find its way into another VAG car somewhere or other.

Springs - no idea, but I'd guess these are specifc to models and not interchangable. Wheels - anything that has 5x112 and an offset that is suitable - most VAG cars have the right pcd at 5x112 but only a few have the right offset - off the top of my head a golf for instance has i think et of 50 (?) which is close enough to the octavia to be a straight swap - lots of audi's unfortunately have the right pcd but offset (et) much too low (et32 etc) which would push the wheel too far out in the arch and give you rubbing problems.

rob_e said most Audi wheels not ALL.

The MKII A3 for example is the same as the MK5 Golf with ET 50.

Just do your research before buying any.
