VarioFlex rear folding seats...Problem?

Featured Replies

I ordered my yeti last week - to be delivered in 10 weeks time. I've order the SE with the central armrest/jumbo box in between the 2 front seats. I played about with the top spec yeti in the showroom and noticed that when all the back seats are folded flat and then up, the middle seat does not sit vertical/flush with the outer 2. The middle seat protrudes into the rear car space due the the lack of room caused by the presence of the jumbo box. I think the middle seat sits much flatter/more upright in the lower S and E range models. Has anyone else noticed this problem with their higher spec yetis with the jumbo box? Thanks

This has cropped up before. According to the owners manual, you remove the headrest from the centre seat then click it flat further than the outboard seats and it'll then fold up in line with the other two.

To give you something to read over the next 10 weeks, the owners manual can be found here on the Skoda-Auto website:
