Has anybody found a way of making the alert warning tone louder?

I'm deaf and frequently don't hear the tone if he engine is running or there is other background noise.

While there is usually a visual wrning that I see, it would be nice to be able to hear the warning tone as well.

Please don't suggest turning up my hearing aids - the 2L PD diesel may be good but it isn't that quiet.

Also, where is the alert sound coming from, I can't locate it?

The buzzer in located in Instrument Cluster, I don;t know sure but i guess it is not posible to make it louder...

An auto electrician maybe able to replace the buzzer with a lamp or an LED?
