Just bought an Octavia estate.

Featured Replies

Well, having spent all of Saturday driving round south London to avoid the M25 closure I've got my hands on an Octavia estate.

Its a 51 reg Elegance estate in Cayenne red metallic with 74,000 miles on the clock. 1.8T 2WD with a full dealer service history.

Booked in for it's first MOT tday and a service/cam belt change on Friday at the dealer. SO far my impressions are very good indeed, as a motorway car I really cannot fault it. Not had much chance to do non-motorway miles yet as my journey to work is just 4 miles.

Great things about the car so far are:

  • The turbo noise
  • The huge boot area
  • the cleverly concealed CD changer
  • the ride
  • the colour
  • the dealer - very helpful, faxed my through the history of the car prior to my ownership.
  • The trip computer
  • loads of clever little features like the centre sun visor, the 12V outlet in the boot

Very very pleased with the car (Had a MK4 astra SXi 1.8 before). Already thinking about Jabber'ing in the spring ;)

God damn you clever people, I'd had mine 6 months before I found that centre sun visor and even then it was pointed out to me by a passenger.;)

A good choice.

Hello and Welcome,

one of the best colours Skoda do IMO.
