Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to install fog lights in a car that did come without them?

If possible is it necessary to buy also any other component than the lights?

- extra cables?

- Interior switches?

- Any mod necessary with the VAG-COM?

It is possible, if you want to do it all OEM then you will need the fog lights, wiring harness and a high end Central Electronics Control Module

This is for the VW Golf Mk5 but the Octavia is based on the golf and uses a lot of the same parts

The electrical equipment and modules differ from G5 to O2 FL, O2FL resembles Superb 2. Here are the installation of the Superb 2.

You will need switch lights, wires, and OEM projectors. No need to change 09 module, only to recode with fog light.

Extrawires that you need to fit:

From T10b pin 5 light switch to T52a pin 21 CECM ( T10b/5 to T52a/21)

from T52c/25 to pin 1 L23 - Fog light bulb, right

from T52a/25 to pin 1 L22 - Fog light bulb, left

from both pin 2 fog r/l light to earth.

In Attachment you have pinout for j519 CECM.
