I purchased my second vRS last night (first one written off after three months by a lovely lady!) and it has a revo remap.

I have put it onto the top setting (Highest bhp), plugged it into the OBD port and turned the igition on.....the unit then beeps after a few seconds. Does this mean that the car is now running on that mode, any help appreciated!

Hello, not sure what you mean by highest setting/bhp! ? What sps box do you have i take it its a select plus, you have settings for timing,boost and fuel, just because you stick all of them on 9 highest setting does not mean you have the highest bhp probaly lower bhp if anything. Timing should be around 4-5 and boost 6 which is the default setting for boost could go maybe 7, no need for fuel settings on the 1.8t.

So yes when you plug it in the obd port you then hear a bleep like you say the car will then be set to those settings.
