Meta System Alarm settings...

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I just bought new Skoda Octavia Facelift before a month. I have an installed Meta System HPA 3.5 alarm on it. When i arming the car the flashers of the car blinks once and the alarm is on. When i disarming my car - they blinks twice and after that alarm is off.

Sometimes i am wondering "Did i switched the alarm on? Hmm... Maybe not, just i have to check..." - If i hear a sound when i turn on/off the alarm i will feel much more comfortable. Can i switch the alarm sounds on by the remote or is there any other way to do this?

If anybody with the same alarm can help me, I will be very thankful!!!

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Meta alarms is an after market product, so it wrong to assume that members of this forum will have knowledge of it. rudeness will not help. My wife's Fiat has a Meta alarm, dealer fitted, which has no audible confirmation. I wonder if you are assuming that the Meta will do it, because it is a feature of the OE Skoda alarm?

Almost all Meta alarms have the same options. Send me private msg with your mail address and I'll send you service manual for Fiat and for Skoda.

I have exactly same model of Meta alarm. Since it can be incorporated into can-bus of yor vehicle it is used with original Skoda remote! I remember when my friend installed it for me, he asked me if I want to have audible warning! He had some device by which he was able to code alarm! It can be easily changed by experienced person!

You've got a beer!!! Many beers!!! It works just perfectly!!! I have a beep on/off sounds of the alarm now! This works perfect!!! Only with the remote control and the LED panel inside the car! No computer needed for this!!!

Thank you so much!
