noticed a problem with the side impact airbag,by the lumbar support adjuster knob, drivers seat support, mine seems to be

collapsing, passengers the same but not quite a bad. Dear says this is normal..

Hi It is just 3 months old and we noticed it after a month and immediately went to our dealer. At first they said they needed a photo for a meeting but had no camera, so we took a photo ourselves and emailed it to them we then wait for the outcome of the meeting, and told just wear and tear!!!! We go in and complaint and they laugh!!!! and offer no solution, they then give us a customer complaints number to ring and they offer no help and tell us to try another dealer.

We have just got in from a visit to another dealer, they we so different, immediately agreed with us and furthermore said the airbag has disconnected from the frame which is allowing the seating to collapse, and it is a warranty issue. They have booked the car in for investigation and work. Will report on further developments.
