Last night my dad got his brand new 10-plate Elegance 1.6CR Estate in Cappucino, making us a 2-Skoda Family!!!

We've just completed our migration from being a two-Ford to a two-Skoda family too!

Another two Skoda family here (Octavia & a Yeti) and looks like we'll probably stay that way when I replace my Octavia with another in in a few months time.

Does anyone else think that the little wheels on the estate ruin it slightly?

In my oppinion, it looks quite 'executive', especially in Cappuccino, but it's spoiled by the large tyre side-walls. If it had bigger wheels, maybe not quite the size of my VRS ones, but 17" maybe, it would look loads better...

Just given all our cars a wash, and took some pics in the better light.

We are currently travelling in France, having purchased our Superb Sportline IV last month. I put the car on charge in Le Chartre-sur-le Loir yesterday, just outside Le Mans, at a bargain public charge price of 30 euro cents per Kw to 90% or 19.61 kWh, and headed off to Angouleme, a circa 200-mile drive. We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p

Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems.
