Just ordered facelifted fab

Featured Replies

Just pre ordered my new fabia 1.2tsi. 12 weeks apperltly subject to the finance going through ok. £40 more than the list price for the current fabia 3

the dealer told me there were no 1.4 patrols coming to the uk?? Not that I care as I wanted the 1.2

ben

Correct! Will be a 85bhp 1.2 TSI

Congratulatons, I think you're the first!

It seems they won't be premium-pricing the TSI over the old 1.4/1.6 engines which is great news.

So the dealers are already taking orders for the new Fabia - they must have the UK prices and specs for the new range?

I assume you don't get your VAT-free offer if you order of the new models?

I am looking to buy a new Roomster but am weighing up the options. If I could get the prices that would help. Must speak to my local dealer...

Congratulations,

Matthew.

Good stuff , what colour have you went for? What spec is your car? Do they have brouchures and pricelists availible yet? (sorry for all the questions!)

I've gone for a 1.2tsi in candy white. I've gone for the Elegance spec which used to be known as the Fabia 3 apparently. The dealer hadn't been given the full specs as yet but he said it was exactly the same equipment as the 3 but apparently just a few extra bits and bobs like a new stereo but he couldn't be sure just yet. Apperntly the inside has had a fair few changes too. I'll grab a brochure when i take my vrs in next week to get the door seals fixed. I've opted for heated seats and the light washers but at the moment im trying to decide if to buy the ASR pack as well. As for prices the dealer thinks that the VAT offer will be finishing for the facelift but luckily they honored the the offer if i ordered one. So to cut a long story short i've got the facelift for 10146 so quite happy with that. Apparently it'll be here in approx.. 12 weeks. Whats everyones thoughts on extras such as ASR?

Ben

If you can stretch to it i would get ESP, other than that I would say you have got an ace deal.

From reading the posts im insure what gearbox will be in it. Is it going to be a 5 speed manual?

Ben

Yes, 5 speed manual.

Is it the 85BHP TSI (replaces 1.4 16v) or the 105BHP (replaces 1.6 16v) version you have ordered?

I think you have got a cracking deal there!

The 1.4 replacement as I was originally having a 1.4. With the wagers and projector lenses I may be naughty and have some xenons eventually, can't believe there not an option. Washers were only 50 pounds

The Polo gets a 6 speed manual?

They gave you the VAT off then? You got a great deal there, well done

Sounds nice

Hi Ben,

I hope you don't mind me asking who your dealer is as I am thinking of ordering facelifted Roomster, hopefully VAT-free...

Regards,

Matthew.

Farmers of Nottingham and Leicester i believe there at, i used the leicester one myself. Like i said im not sure if the vat promo is still on but then honored it if i placed a deposit that day.

Thats £895 below the VAT free price for a similar spec Fabia 3(£10,811.38 pluus £230 worth of options and £234 below DTD price)

Seems a very good deal indeed.

I'm almost certain the dealer in question has made a big **** up here, but good for Ben

If a top spec facelift with the TSI is available for anywhere close to £11k (even discounted) that will be a bargain. Looking forward to seeing the UK list prices soon.

Great deal @ that price , and nice colour choice too , I do like a nice shiny white car!

Just to clear up a mistake I made, the options I added seats/lights were extra and not in the headline price. Sorry for the confusion

Just to add an update, i went to the dealer today to sign the paperwork. All sorted, finance all done and should get a better idea on its build slot next week. Apparently they went in to production today. There currently quoting a estimated delivery date for the car on around June 7th.

Although if you look at http://www.carsuk.net/skoda-fabia-skoda-roomster-2010-prices-announced/ my car doesn't exist ??

Today? I don't think mass production is starting before the end of the month.
