eibachs and new top bearings?

Featured Replies

I got a set of Eibach springs for my Vrs from Santa Claus and have just bought a set of Boge/Sachs shockers to go with them,i was just wondering if its worth replacing the strut top bearings at the same time, cars done 96000 miles and i havnt not any untoward noises from the front end, does the strut top cap that the bearing sits in/on need to be replaced aswell? hopefully get the job done in the next week or so depending on the weather.....

it would be worthwhile doing the top bearings and probably the bump stops too

when i put the Eibach springs on, i bought all the bits to build up complete shocker units, this was to save messing about on the day of fitting, plus i knew all the components were good as i was going to the 'Ring the following weekend
