Has anybody used this company before. I spoke to a guy called Gav who was helpful and enthusiastic.

i asked for a price on some work that needed to be done on my car and since monday he keeps promising me i will get an email with a list of everything i need and a price.

i do want to use this company but with it takin almost 5 days to get a price and a reply its slightly dis-heartening.

the work i need doing is around £1500 and it feels like there is not alot of interest into doing it for me?

any reviews would be helpful and so on.... thanks

But I have been speaking to him for years

He is very good when it comes to diesels and if needed , yes I would go and see him

He is very enthusiastic , in fact he does not stop talking long enough to take a breath

Gav is a good lad , if you are still waiting call him , I am sure he will talk though alot with you

ignore that, just spoke to a guy at http://www.racepads.co.uk/ and he said you need to remove the gear box first to check if its LUK Or Sachs fly wheel and clutch. so i need to spend money to save money lol nightmare

Clutch depends on what flywheel you've got fitted as standard (either Sachs or LUK), unfortunately 9 times out of 10 we don't know whats in it until it's apart

By the way, if you are looking at going single mass flywheel route we'll soon be offering one with sachs clutch kit for around £950 inc VAT as opposed to £1200+ for the full sachs kit.

Basically we're having our own billet flywheels made which reduces the cost dramatically.

How soon will your kit be getting produced. I can get 2 sachs clutch for 550 in vat and the single mass fly wheel kit for 1100 inc vat. Its all money money money lol.

My dad had a remap done by the Derv Doctor and as far as I know, he has had no problems. He did have a remap for motorway economy rather than power so I wouldn't be able to comment on what sort of power gains you could expect.

DSG's dont require clutch kits. Just a DSG remap will do

I had my old 306 tuned from the Derv Doctor. Great tuner, great guy and really has lots of knowledge for diesels.

he did some work on my old ford mondeo 1.8TD no problems i will be going to him very soon for abit of work doing
