Do any of you know anything about the new MOT test equipment that is starting to be used by testing stations.

Apparently its a laser device connected to a machine that can pick up any abnormalities in any components under the car

Several taxi owners here have had there cars fail due to this, but when they take there cars to get new bits fitted the mechanics cannot find anything wrong
