I get a similar feeling in 3rd at exactly 1250rpm when accelerating. judder repeats itself perhaps 3 or 4 times then clears. Happens every time on the way to work at the same corner. strange.

Take a different route to work :)

I have test driven 3 vRS recently, a one year old which was fine and two 2-3 year olds both of which had this slight clutch judder and a turbo lag. Do these 2 issues creep in after a couple years? These two cars felt like they had two areas of hesitation when gearing down and accelerating.

I had something similar on my PD vRS, but only when accelerating up a slight incline in third at relatively low speed. As you say it always happens on the same corner, i.e. the same set of conditions. Do the same in second, no judder. Similar corner, no incline, no judder.

I didn't think that it was anything to worry about.

same thing for me, in 2nd it's fine so nothing that I'm concerned about. I may just have to approach the corner faster in 3rd to resolve the problem !! lol.
