Maxidot

Ok

So i have my new VRS drivenit for a while now i want to play with the settings!

but no wait what can i set in the maxidot??

err.....

not a lot!

all i seem to be able to change is the DRL and whether all the windows come down on the key or just the drivers

i had been told about being able to turn the alarm beep off and open all doors on first unlock

been told about cornering fogs and lots of other stuff.

Am I missing something here or should all these options be in the maxidot system or do they need to be turned on?

or is this a case of how much is it going to cost me to turn them on?

can anyone tell me what i can set with the maxidot? ie a total list of what should be available? and how i make them available?

I agree, if your car has a more basic spec then the options on Maxidot are more limited. For example, if you have autolights or bluetooth, then other options become available.

You can have the audio information, especially good if you are using MP3s, displayed on the Maxidot. You also get some of the warnings displayed, like 'ESP Off'.

About the only thing I have done is to configure the car to auto lock the doors when you drive off, and to disable the display of the speed warning. I think that you set the alarm beep, but I haven't bothered.

yeah i have the sat nav and the phone intergation and they are all available on the maxidot and are excellent

but i was more interested in other setting that i could play with!

The alarm beep should be under "ATA Confirm" I think, but yeah - things like cornering fogs etc are only on there once they are turned on using VCDS or Vagcom.
