Just had my 02 vrs at the skoda garage here in ireland and got a list of to do's back as follows

replace front and rear pads and discs

replace driveshaft seal at gearbox

power steering pipe from pump to rack

2 front wish bone bushes (rear)

....a tidy little list that when i checked with the Dublin skoda parts dealership comes to quite a scary total of not much change from 900euro

i had a quick look on ebay and didnt take long to see the difference in price in the UK so really im looking for advice on where to shop for this stuff and if im feeling brave on the day a how to on doing some of the work myself as 60/70euro an hour labour here isnt something i can afford at thte monent
