Rear Bench Removal

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

The road noise from my octy has always annoyed me, and since we also now have a Kia Ceed SW which is much less noisy it's driving me nuts. I'm going to attempt to fit some felt carpet underlay to the underside of the boot liner as well as wheel well and under the rear bench - my question is ... how the h*ll do you get the rear bench out ?

flip it up and forward, then quickly unclip the retaining arm things to remove

Just pull front of seat up and bingo! It is fixed by a metal hoop going into a hole under seat.

COOL! thanks for the help guys ..... i'm taking the Octy on a 2000+ mile trip around france in july and the prospect of listening to it roaring away constantly is absolutely doing my head in. Truthfully i'd far rather take the Kia because it's honestly a nicer car to drive, but it's a 1.6 petrol and wont get anywhere close to the economy of the Octy.
